Qruper Provider Agreement

This agreement governs all independent travel guides and hosts who offer experiences through the Qrupe platform. Read carefully before applying.

"Qruper" means any individual approved by Qrupe to offer travel experiences, guided trips, or local hosting services through the platform. Qrupers operate as independent service providers and are not employees, agents, or partners of Qrupe. "Experience" means any group trip, guided tour, cultural activity, or travel service offered by a Qruper. "Traveler" means any user who books or participates in a Qruper Experience.

All applicants must complete Qrupe's identity verification process before their profile is published. This includes submitting a valid government-issued photo ID, confirming their full legal name and date of birth, and completing a one-time background screening fee. Qrupe reserves the right to approve, decline, or revoke Qruper status based on the results of this verification. Providing false or misleading information during verification is grounds for permanent disqualification.

Qrupers are expected to have genuine knowledge of the destinations and experiences they offer. While Qrupe does not require formal certification for all experience types, Qrupers must accurately represent their background, expertise, and qualifications in their profile. Any professional certifications, first aid training, or language proficiencies should be listed honestly. Misrepresenting credentials is a violation of this agreement and may result in account suspension.

Qrupers are solely responsible for providing complete, truthful, and up-to-date information for all experiences listed on the platform. This includes: accurate dates and departure times; correct meeting points and logistics; a clear description of activities, difficulty level, and physical requirements; a full list of what is included and excluded in the price; and any relevant warnings or restrictions. Qrupe may remove or suspend listings that contain misleading, incomplete, or outdated information.

Qrupers must comply with all applicable local, regional, and national laws in every destination where they operate. This includes obtaining any required permits, licenses, or authorizations needed to legally offer guided tours or travel experiences. Qrupers are responsible for staying informed of regulatory changes in their operating areas. Qrupe is not liable for any fines, penalties, or legal consequences resulting from a Qruper's failure to comply with local regulations.

The safety and wellbeing of travelers is a top priority. Qrupers are expected to: conduct a risk assessment for all activities, especially outdoor or adventure experiences; communicate safety protocols clearly to participants before and during the experience; maintain an appropriate group-to-guide ratio; carry a basic first aid kit on all in-person experiences; and act promptly in the event of an emergency, including contacting local emergency services when necessary. Qrupers who repeatedly receive safety complaints may have their access suspended pending review.

Qrupers set their own pricing, subject to Qrupe's minimum standards. All prices must be listed in the currency displayed on the platform. The listed price must represent the full cost of the experience unless clearly marked items are listed as optional add-ons. Hidden fees, last-minute surcharges, or misleading pricing structures are prohibited. Qrupe collects a platform service fee from each booking and remits the remaining amount to the Qruper after the experience is confirmed as completed.

Qrupers may not use false endorsements, fake reviews, or misleading statements in their listings or communications. Claims about group size, traveler ratings, or past experiences must be verifiable. Promotional content must accurately reflect the actual experience offered. Any awards, certifications, or media features referenced in a Qruper profile must be genuine and currently valid.

Qrupers must establish a clear cancellation policy when creating a listing. In the event that a Qruper needs to cancel an experience, travelers must be notified as early as possible and offered either a full refund or the option to reschedule. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the experience start time — except in cases of documented emergencies or force majeure — may result in a penalty deduction from future payouts. Repeated cancellations without adequate notice may result in listing suspension.

Qrupers represent the Qrupe community and are expected to maintain a high standard of professional conduct at all times. This includes treating all travelers with respect regardless of nationality, gender, age, sexual orientation, religion, or background; refraining from any form of harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior; maintaining clear and timely communication before, during, and after the experience; and handling complaints or conflicts constructively and professionally. Violations of these standards may result in immediate account suspension or permanent removal from the platform.

Qrupe is a marketplace platform that connects travelers with independent providers. Qrupe does not organize, manage, or operate Qruper experiences and is not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or outcome of any experience offered by a Qruper. Qrupe's liability in connection with any claim arising from a Qruper experience is limited to the amount paid to Qrupe as a platform fee for that booking. Qrupers are strongly encouraged to carry appropriate professional liability and travel leader insurance coverage.

This agreement does not create an employment, partnership, agency, or joint venture relationship between Qrupe and any Qruper. Qrupers are fully independent service providers responsible for their own taxes, insurance, business registrations, and legal obligations. Qrupers may not represent themselves as employees or official representatives of Qrupe in any context.

Qrupers are encouraged to report any traveler misconduct, safety incidents, or suspected fraud through the platform's reporting tools. Travelers are equally able to report Qruper misconduct. All reports are reviewed by Qrupe's Trust & Safety team within 5 business days. Qrupe reserves the right to suspend any account under investigation while a review is in progress. Retaliation against users who submit good-faith reports is strictly prohibited.

Qrupe may update this agreement from time to time to reflect changes in the platform, legal requirements, or community standards. Qrupers will be notified of material changes by email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Qruper program after notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
