Verified Qruper Badges
Trip leaders go through a manual review and approval process before they can create Travel Circles or lead Travel Groups. No one leads a trip without being vetted.
Pre-Trip Group Chat
You can meet, chat, and get to know your group before you ever leave home. If something feels off, you can leave the circle or group at any time — no commitment required.
Group Rules Before Joining
Every Travel Group sets clear expectations upfront — itinerary, budget range, behavior standards, and who is welcome. You agree to these rules before requesting to join.
Manual Profile Review
Our team reviews flagged, suspicious, or incomplete profiles. Accounts that don't meet our standards are removed before they can connect with others.
Report & Block Tools
You can report or block any member from their profile or within a group. Reports are reviewed by our safety team within 24–48 hours, and action is taken swiftly.
Optional Emergency Contact
You can designate a trusted contact who can be reached in case of an emergency while traveling. This information is stored privately and never shared without your consent.
Private Circle Controls
Travel Circles can be set to private, visible only to invited members. Qrupers control membership and can remove anyone who violates the group's standards.
Traveler Reviews
After every completed trip, members can leave honest reviews of their Tripmates. This creates accountability and helps the community identify trustworthy travelers.
Inclusive Community Guidelines
Qrupe is a welcoming space for all travelers. Discrimination, harassment, hate speech, or exclusionary behavior of any kind is not tolerated and results in permanent removal.
Community Standards
Every Qrupe member agrees to these standards when they join. Violations are taken seriously and may result in removal.
Be honest and transparent
- Use your real name and an accurate photo.
- Be truthful about your travel experience and expectations.
- Disclose relevant health or accessibility needs when joining a group.
Respect every traveler
- Treat all members with dignity regardless of nationality, gender, age, or sexual orientation.
- Do not share other members' personal information without their consent.
- Respect cultural differences — you'll be traveling the world with diverse people.
Communicate clearly
- Respond to messages in a reasonable timeframe.
- Notify your group if your plans change.
- Raise concerns early — don't wait until the trip has started.
Travel responsibly
- Follow all local laws and regulations at your destination.
- Respect shared spaces, accommodations, and budgets agreed upon in the group.
- Do not pressure others to break plans, overspend, or do activities they're uncomfortable with.
